Welcome to the new PilatesEVO Studio Barcelona and the PilatesEVO School at OneOcean Marina Port Vell in Barcelona.
If you haven’t already heard, PilatesEVO is the system designed for Pilates teachers to enhance your Pilates experience. It is based on traditional Pilates movements and principles but goes further by including elements such as mindfulness meditation, NLP, functional training techniques and meridians using flowing combinations of movements. It can be used as a stand-alone system, or to enhance any other Pilates session. It compliments Joseph Pilates’ beliefs that the mind and body are one. To achieve this, PilatesEVO combines techniques both ancient and modern to give you and your clients a much deeper experience which in turn means that greater benefits, both physical and psychological, can be achieved. You are also taught skills that enable you to become a better teacher; something that few other courses teach. The skills you learn can be used in any Pilates or fitness class, and can also be applied to your everyday life.
PilatesEVO Studio Barcelona in OneOcean Marina Port Vell is fully equipped with Pilates machines and the complex includes a fully equipped gymnasium. We also have a wonderful terrace overlooking the marina and the city where we train and study. The centre has male and female changing facilities and showers, and plenty of sofas to relax and enjoy a tea or coffee. The location of OneOcean Marina Port Vell is one of the most iconic places in Barcelona and offers our teachers a secure and calm place next to the water’s edge to learn and practise; an oasis in the centre of vibrant Barcelona and just a short walk from the city centre, Las Ramblas and the beach.
There are regular educations at the PilatesEVO Studio Barcelona and at our school as well as private sessions for Pilates teachers. Many teachers visit us in Barcelona and combine their Pilates training or practise with a holiday. We also invite qualified PilatesEVO teachers to pop in anytime to use the facilities. We teach PilatesEVO educations and modules on both machine and mat. We also provide a range of workshops including business related skills to help create and build your Pilates business, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and meditation courses. As well as our published courses, we also organise private educations and training every day of the year, and all our courses are available to study online.
